My grandmother Malinda Mae Lemaster is the daughter of William Jessie Lemaster b. 2 April, 1862 d. 12 Dec., 1917 and Nancy Jane Sparks. W.J. L. is the son of Daniel Phillip Lemaster b.17 June, 1829 d.24 Dec., 1908 and Phoeby Bays. D.P. L. is the son of Lewis Lemaster b. 1792 Spartinsburg, NC d. 1864 and Martha Phillips. Lewis is the son of Eleazer Lemaster b. 1760 Amherst Co. d. 1859 Johnson Co., KY. and Machelle Tackett. There is great Lemaster / Sparks data on the Johnson Co., KY. genealogy web site listed above. Felty or other of Nancy & Simon's children. I believe they lived in the Old Town area. My mother Pearl Maxine Collins was born 6 Dec., 1923 to Benjamin Harrison Collins b. 22 June, 1891 s/o Johnathon Edward Collins and Nancy Jane Berry. and Malinda Mae Lemaster born 4 Dec., 1891 to William Jessie Lemaster and Nancy Jane Sparks. Johnathon Edward Collins was born to "Neddie" Collins and Susan (?) in (?), VA - This is a brick wall for me. I need data on Johnathon, Needie, Susan and the family of Nancy Jane Berry. all I know is that her Father is Listed as "Hode" (probably a nick name) on her death certificate.
