    3. I wonder if Isom Brown was born in Greenup or perhaps if he was born in Morgan County where Isom is a common first name? Maybe the family moved to Greenup from Morgan? Its a long shot but worth a try anyway. After searching for ten years, I just found that my ggf was born in Greenup County in 1873. His name was James Young Brown, and all I know is that he had a brother, slightly older, named Isom. James married Namcy Melvina Ann Pryor on Christmas Day, 1894. Nancy mostly went by the name Vina, so there have been lots of dead ends. There is a possibility that James' father was named Joseph, but I have nothing to verify this. If anyone has any info, please contact me directly. It will be truly appreciated.
