You mentioned the West family. I am writing to see if you possibly have any info on my gggg grandfather, who was named Buford (could have been spelled Bluford) West. He was living in Greenup County in the 1850 and 1860 census with his wife Lucinda (maiden name unknown) and sons James, Joel, "JWC" and "G". By 1870 James (my ggggrandfather) was married to Louisa McClure West and they lived in West Liberty, Morgan County. James West died between 1870 and 1880. One of his sons, Ezekial West, was my gggrandfather. I have searched high and low and haven't one clue about the ancestors of James and Buford West. Thanks for your help.
