Hello, This is my first post to the Greenup County Mailing List. I'm posting for my friend, Roseann. She's just starting the search for her family and I'm helping her get started. Her paternal grandfather was Nick Blevins born sometime between 1880-1900 in Old Town, Kentucky. Wife is unknown. They had 4 children: Irene, Jimmy, "Bug", and Charles Edward "Hunk" Blevins born in the 1920's. Last night I did search the Greenup County web page and found info about the Blevins Cemetery. ftp://ftp.rootsweb.com/pub/usgenweb/ky/greenup/cemeteries/blevins.txt This cemetery is most likely her kin. Roseann was a young girl when her father, Charles Edward "Hunk" Blevins died. Since he's buried in this cemetery and there is a George Nicholas Blevins buried there, I would say this is Nick Blevins, her grandfather.
