Before his retirement, about five years ago, Gorman had worked at Western Cartridge, and at Alton Memorial Hospital. A native of Greenup County, Ky., he was born May 18, 1878. He had resided in Illinois for 28 years, coming from Webb City, Mo. Before moving to Medora he had resided at Grafton and while there had affiliated with the Baptist Church. He also had lived at Brighton and in Granite City. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Rosia Gorman; five sons, Floyd, Brighton; Clarence, Wood River; Warren, St. Louis, Mo., and Charles and James, Medora; two daughters, Mrs. Walter Tuetken and Mrs. Florence Williams, Medora; a brother Carter of Flat Rock, Mich., and a sister, Mrs. Laura Marlow, Brookfield, Mo., and 19 grandchildren. The body is at Marks mortuary, Wood River, where friends may call after 6 p.m. today and until Saturday when it will be taken to the Baptist Church at Grafton for rites at 1 p.m. The Rev. Ben Sauerwein will officiate at the service there. (Frank is the son of David R. Gorman and Mary Ann McCoy)
