Williams Mae M. Williams, 95, of Middletown, passed away Sunday, Feb. 22, 2004, at Garden Manor Extended Care Center. She was born on Sept. 4, 1908, in Indian Run, [Greenup County], Ky., but lived in Middletown for most of her life. She was the owner/operator of Mae’s Beauty Shop for 45 years until retiring in 1996. Ms. Williams was preceded in death by her parents, Alonzo and Cinderella McPeek; three sisters; and a brother. Survivors include three nieces, Sandra (Dan) Fugate of Lawrenceburg, Ind., Linda Wright of Denver, Colo., and Brenda (Harold) Getting of Eaton, Ohio; three nephews, Larry (Ginny) McPeek of Aurora, Ind., David (CiCi) McPeek and Phillip (Terry) McPeek, both of Sacramento, Calif.; and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews. ARRANGEMENTS: Funeral services are set for 11 a.m. Thursday at Baker-Stevens Funeral Home, with the Rev. James R. Anderson officiating. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. prior to the service. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
