Hello everyone, I'm new to the list, though I am also on the Scioto CO, OH list so some of you might see me there. WHITE, Abel is the primary family I am intertested in. This is Abel White (1758-1823) that originates in New England, probably VT, came to Greenup Co via Steuben Co, NY and Scioto Co, OH. He's said to be connected to Peregrine White by some. We are connected to Abel through his daughter Rebecca White (1789-1867) who married Nathaniel Searl (1788-1855) of Scioto Co. Also I am interested in a Mercy White (1815-1864, born in NY) who married Nathaniel and Rebecca Searl's son Wyatt Chamberlain Searl (1814-1859). Haven't been able to identify her as of yet, but I expect she is probably a neice of Able or a cousin. Also, does anyone happen to know where Able White is buried? I read one account that said he died back in Scioto Co. Would love to share material with all White relatives. Vic & Kathy Varis
