JUST POSTING THE OBITUARY ON IDA HOFACKER FROM EATON (OH) REGISTER-HERALD 4/18/07 Ida B. Stephens Hofacker, 81, of Evansville, IN, and formerly of Eaton, OH, died April 15, 2007 after a long illness. She was born May 16, 1925 in Oldtown, KY and was the daughter of the late Lowell and Alice (Smith) Stephens. She was a member of The First Baptist Church of Lehigh Acres, FL where she and her husband, Richard, were active before moving to Evansville when he became ill. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard, in 2001; four brothers, Ernest Stephens, L.D. Stephens, Andy Stephens and William Stephens; three sisters; Gladys Stephens, Eunice Hardin and Tiny May. Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law; Lynda (Gary) Duke of Ft. Myers, FL, Pat (Dave) Tucker of Evansville, IN, Karen (Bob) Adams of Santa Ana, CA and Cindy Tougher of FL; son and daughter-in-law; Mike (Tammy) Hofacker of Ft. Myers.;10 grandchildren, Shelly(Tony) Buccieri of Cypress, TX, Tiffany (Rodney) Todd of Alva, FL, Greg (Patti) Daily of Newburgh, I! N, Gretchen (David) Curry of Eaton, OH, Nick and Steve Adams of Santa Ana, Krystal and Chris Hofacker of Ft. Myers, Georgina and Rachel Tougher of FL; sisters and brother-in-law, Mae Lewis of Greenup County, KY, Mary French of Medway, OH, Opha Baldridge of South Shore, KY, Deane Veach of Arcadia, FL, and June (Melvin) Vansickle of Medway; brother and sister-in-law; Clyde (Wanda) Stephens of Fostoria, OH; nine great- grandchildren, Katie Todd of Cypress, TX, Josh, Jake, Hannah and Faith Todd of Alva, FL; Bradley, Blake and Molly Curry of Eaton, OH and Hanna Daily of Newburgh, IN. Funeral Service will be at 2 p.m. on April 18, at Barnes Funeral Home, 220 E. Main St., Eaton, OH with the Rev. Melvin Vansickle officiating. Burial will be in Mound Hill Union Cemetery in Eaton. Family will receive friends from noon-2 p.m. on April 18, 2007 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice.
