In the Greenup cemetery book, that cemetery is listed as follows: "Off Route 7, turn left across from Allen's Chapel; go through Potter's barnyard and up hill." As you know, Route 7 goes right through Maloneton. And I see an Allen Road just north of Maloneton. However, be advised that in all the names given in the book for that cemetery, George Imes is not one of them. There are no Imes listed, not at this cemetery or any other in this book. It says that there are "many" unidentifiable graves there. So it would be my guess that he either does not have a marker or his marker is one of those sandstone types that wash away over a period of time, making them unreadable. It also sounds like it is located on someone's farm and those cemeteries, of course, have had varying levels of care, vandalism, etc. Some are really kept up and others are not. Another tactic might be to call the Greenup library. I was just there a few weeks ago and they have put together a new updated reference area containing readings of the Greenup cemeteries that would likely be more complete than this book, both with names of people and directions to the cemeteries. You might be able to get more info from someone there (or stop in yourself before making the trek to find the cemetery.) In some cases, there are even pictures.
