She married (1) Daniel BROWN, b. abt 1830 in VA, and died serving in the Civil War, bet. 1861-65. He served in Co. B 1st WVA Lt. Artillery. They had 3 children: Thomas Tull BROWN, b. abt 1855; William H. BROWN, b. abt 1858; and Charlotte BROWN, b.abt. Apr 1860. Comfort then married Hiram OSBORN, b. 1805, PA, d. 1876. Comfort died Sep 18 1874. I don't know where she is buried. Hiram Osborn and his 1st wife adopted my gr-grandfather, Joseph MITCHELL, in the 1850s. They were from Fayette County, Pennsylvania, and came to Lawrence County, OH, by 1860. I've pretty well traced my OSBORNs and MITCHELLs back to PA but if anyone has further info on Comfort, or especially my OSBORN/MITCHELL line, as it relates to Lawrence County, please let me know.
