JUST POSTING THE OBITUARY ON RALPH FANNIN FROM THE DAYTON(OH) DAILY NEWS 6/15/07 Ralph J. Fannin, Age 84, a resident of Miamisburg, OH passed away unexpectedly June 13, 2007 at Kettering Medical Center. Ralph was born on June 21, 1922 in Fullerton, KY to the late Mordicai and Shirley (Farley) Fannin. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his first wife, Pauline Fannin and his second wife, Ruth Jones Fannin; 2 brothers, Ray and Joe Fannin; and his son-in-law, Brent Callahan. He is survived by his son, Leroy Fannin of Miamisburg, OH; 2 daughters, Dottie (Jim) Crace of Miamisburg and Shirley Callahan of Middletown, OH; 3 brothers, Roy Fannin of South Shores, KY, Harold (Norma) Fannin of West Carrollton, OH, Elva (Pat) Fannin of Camden, VA; 1 sister, Melda Cope of Indianapolis, IN; grandchildren, Kim (Steve) Whitesell, Mark Fannin, Melissa Goodpaster, Brian (Lisa) Tunall and Melanie Callahan; step-grandchildren, Rick, Terry and Darren Callahan. Ralph was the owner of Fannin Floor Covering in Miamisburg for 47 years. He was also a Navy veteran! of WW II and a member of the American Legion Post #165. Funeral services will be held June 18, 2007 at 1:00 PM from the GEBHART-SCHMIDT- PARRAMORE FUNERAL HOME, 508 E. Linden Ave., Miamisburg. Rev. Randy Wallace officiating. Burial Highland Memorial Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on June 18, 2007 from 11:00 AM until time of services.
