I would love to have a copy of the marriage certificates for Nancy Bush to Sampson Bredon (Braden) and then Nancy Braden to William Montgomery. Sampson Bredon(Braden) married Nancy Bush 9 Sep 1856 in Greenup County, Kentucky Sampson Braden listed in the 1860 Greenup County Census as follows: Sampson Braden age 41, occupa. farmer Prop. Val 700 Estate Val 700 b. Tennessee Nancy Braden age 21 b. Kentucky William Braden age 22, occupa. farmer b. Virginia Elizabeth age 20, b Virginia John age 13, b. Virginia Sarah age 13, b. Virginia Nevada age 2, b. Kentucky Basil age 11/12, b. Kentucky I believe Sampson Braden died before 1867 because Nancy Braden married William A. Montgomery 9 April 1867. William A. Montgomery in the 1870 Greenup Census as follows: Wm. A. Montgomery age 29 Teamster b. West Virginia Nancy Montgomery age 31 Keeping house b. Kentucky Tho. M. Montgomery age 2 b. Kentucky Bird L. Montgomery age 7/12 b. Kentucky Nevada Braden age 12 b. Kentucky Basil Braden age 10 b. Kentucky William and Nancy Montgomery in the 1880 Daviess County Census as follows: Montgomery W. A. age 39 farmer b. Virginia, Father b. Virginia, Mother b. Virginia Montgomery Nancy age 40 keeping house b. Kentucky, both of her parents b. KY Montgomery Burdell age 10 b. Kentucky Montgomery Charles age 8 b. Kentucky Montgomery Mary age 5 b. Kentucky Montgomery Ira age 7M b. Kentucky Basil Braden is my great grandfather. I would like to know Nancy's parents and when Sampson Braden died. I believe that there is a Braden cemetery off of Hoods Run Road in Greenup. Do you know if this cemetery has been transribed? I believe that Nancy Bush Braden Montgomery died in Vigo County, Indiana although I have not been able to verify that information.
