They are among my favorite cousins. Ella Vallance Clere and my g-grandmother Mary Caroline Vallance Caudill were sisters. I have a ton of info on the Caudills, but am very sketchy on the Vallance side. Would you happen to have a record of Ella's husband, Charles F. Clere's death and burial? Ella's son Charles married a Caudill cousin of my gradmother's, Peggy Potter, so my grandmother was a first cousin to both Charlie and Peggy.
