She touched many souls and will be sadly missed by all who knew her. She enjoyed cooking and taking care of her friends and family. Survivors include her husband of 50 years Candy H. I thought maybe they were brothers. I never found Robert again but John was in Lewis Co,KY in 1840 living next door to a younger William Perry Cooper. One of John's sons was also named Wm.Perry Cooper. I think John, Robert and WM.P are brothers but no proof. Do you know the name of Elizabeth Meade Cooper's HUSBAND? My John's oldest daughter was named Elizabeth born 1821. The name Elizabeth was carried on a few generations. John Cooper was back in Greenup Co. Ky in 1850, he died before 1860. I beleive these people lived about 6 miles east of the Lewis Co. line in Greenup Co, KY There was also a Eli Cooper in Greenup Co at same time but could not tie him in either. I have been trying to find my John's father but no luck at this time. If you know Elizabeth Meade Cooper's husband! name would appreciate the information. Linda, Do these Potter's mesh with George Potter, your grandfather? There is a death certificate filed in the Greenup Co Genealogy Room for Isaac Potter who was born in Letcher, Ky 9 Mar 1872 and died in Thompson, Greenup, Ky 22 Jan 1943. His father was Isaac Potter and his mother was Elizabeth Anderson. In 1900 Isaac and Elizabeth Potter have a son named George, born in 1888. Purchased a book at the library " The History of Greenup County Kentucy" It has a lot of information on the Lawson Family and other early families that came to Greenup County. We found the Mt. Zion cemetery where a lot of the Lawson family is buried. I found a stone with the name Samuel Walker. We took a picture of it. I could email it to you. I met a distant family relative while looking for names in the cemetery. His name was Raymond Lawson and lives on a Lawson family farm next to the Mt. Zion cemetery. Have you worked on the information provided on the Ancestry Website for the Walker Family. If you could give me your address, I could copy some of the Lawson Family information that I have and mail to you.
