    3. Hello, Regarding the 1904-1911 marriage records the entry of Wesley "Clackson" should read Wesley Claxon. This may have been a mistake of the recorder at the time , but I think it's time to be changed. Wesley Claxon and his wife Margaret "Maggie" are my Great Grandparents. I would appreciate the correction. Thanks Gary Claxon ************************************************************************* Betty Lou Riley () chipmunk@zoomnet.net ~{_)/ List Owner for: `` OHAdams-L, KYGreenu-L, Crockett-L, McGovney-L and Webb-L *Check out my Web site (Riley's Camp) at: http://www.zoomnet.net/~chipmunk/ *Look in the Forest for my Family trees.*

Linda Green > October 21, 1998 Hello, This is in re: to the above response to my posting. The above respose must be about another incident, but not the murder of my Great Grandfather, Robert STORY. After his death, when the twins were born they were both healthy and unmarked in any way. So, I'm sure this is a totally different incident. I also am correcting a mistake I made when I first posted. I posted that Robert STORY was my GGGrandfather, I put to many G's in as I was typing. Robert STORY was my Great Grandfather, and his 10 year old son who witnessed the murder was my Grandfather, Frank STORY. I'm sorry for any confusion. Thanks again for all who have responded and any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks! Sincerely, Nancy C. STORY Adkins kabaybruce@zoomnet.net

    3. Hello, My name is Linda Green and I have been told a similar story about someone related to my grandfather, Thomas Stepp. The story that I am familiar with involved a shooting on Christmas also, but the most interesting fact was that this person was also beaten and received markings on his head that outlined the heel of a boot and one of the children that were born also bore this mark. Maybe this is where our similarities part, but to let you know, my version also takes place in Greenup, I am just not sure of the time frame.
