She was married in 1887 to William L. Perkins who preceded her in death 15 years ago. To this union was born six children, namely: Sam, Perkins and Mrs. Lora Pierce of Louisville, Underwood Perkins of Pierce, Mrs. Nellie Warf of Liletown, and Thurman and Thomas Perkins who preceded her in death several years ago. She professed faith in Christ early in life and united with the Trammell's Creek Baptist church where she remained a true and faithful member until God called her home. She was a loving companion, devoted mother, and kind neighbor, and her friends were numbered by her acquaintances. She was always interested in her church, although she was unable to attend services for several years prior to her death. While she will be missed by her family and friends we realize that Heaven has been enriched by her going and she is now reunited with precious ! loved ones who have gone on before. She leaves besides her children, 14 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, 3 sisters, Mrs. Mary G. Davis and Mrs. Mariah O'Banion of Pierce, and Mrs. Luann Perkins of Thurlow , a large number of nieces and nephews and a wide circle of friends who will mourn her passing. Funeral services were conducted at Trammell's Creek Church by her pastor, Rev. Manley Towles, assisted by Rev Milton, and burial was in the family cemetery near the home. Obituaries of Green Co.
