Daughter of the late Rueben Pleas Judd and Idella Thompson Judd, she was born on Feb. 13, 1916, in Green County, Ky. She was one of the founding members of South Greensburg Baptist Church. She was married to Lester Davis on Dec. 17, 1936. He preceded her in death on Dec. 4, 1998. They had one son, Jerold Davis, who preceded her in death on Feb. 7, 2000. Davis is survived by her brother, Rollin Judd of the Pierce Community; two grandchildren, Lee Angela Below of Leesburg, Ga., and Dana Davis of Dickson, Tenn.; seven great-grandchildren, Emily Bull, Ashley Hayes, Elizabeth Hayes, Savannah Davis, Hannah Davis, Jacob Below and Carrie Below. She was also preceded in death by a great-grandson, Gabriel Wayne Davis. Funeral was Friday, March 21 at Cowherd & Parrott Funeral Home in Greensburg with burial in the Green County Memory Gardens Cemetery. Bro. Kenny Rager an! d Bro. Gilbert Larimore officiated.
