Lobb died Thursday, June 10, at the age of 85, and funeral services were held at 2 p. m., Saturday, June 12, at the home. Vernon Shuffett had charge of the services and burial was in Maple Hill cemetery. He united in marriage to Miss Sarah Marcum and to this union six children were born, four of whom survive, Mrs. Dock Strader, and John, Everette, and Ezra Lobb, all of Green county. He is also survived by two brothers, Tom Lobb, Summersville, and Isiah Lobb, Louisville; 22 grandchildren, and 23 great-grandchildren. He professed faith in Christ early in life and united with the Ladies Chapel Methodist Church where he remained a member until death. Obituaries of Green Co. Ky.
