Author: Karen_Jorgensen Surnames: Noggle, Classification: obituary Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.northam.usa.states.kentucky.counties.green/17958/mb.ashx Message Board Post: The entire community was shocked Wednesday to learn of the death of Thomas Patrick Noggle, 33, prominent local attorney, who died early that morning at the Glasgow Community Hospital following a short illness. Torn Pat, as he was affectionately known by his many friends, had been engaged in the practice of law here since 1938. He was a graduate of Greensburg High School and the Jefferson School of Law. He also attended West Point Military Academy. He was a son of the late C. H. Noggle, who practiced law here for many years and who was former Master Commissioner of the Green Circuit Court. Mr. Noggle was highly regarded as a lawyer and his loss will be keenly felt by both the local bar and his many friends in this section of Kentucky. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Anna May Noggle; a son, Charles; and his mother, Mrs. Catherine Noggle. Funeral services will be held today (Friday) at 2 o'clock with burial in the Greensburg Cem.
