Raymond F. Kidd. Report received in the States that he died on January 8th in North Arica of a wound received in action on that same day in Italy in defense of his country." Raymond Franklin Kidd was born January 16, 1920 in Green County where he lived most of his life on the farm. Just before ,he went to the army he bought a farm in Larue County and lived there until he was called into the army May 6,1942. He professed faith in Christ several years ago but had never joined any Church. He leaves to mourn his passing a father, step-mother, three sisters, Opal, Dixie and Ruth; one brother, Aubrey, in service in Texas; step-brother and sister, T. L. Bishop and Ilema Davis; two grandmothers, and a host of friends and loved ones. Obituaries of Green Co.
