Saturday, January 15 in Greensburg. He is survived by his parents, Mr. James Allen Monson, Sr. and Mrs. Betty Ann [Anderson]Monson. He was a veteran of World War II having served in the Navy, was a member of the Greensburg Baptist Church and Rod Lowe Post 124 of the American Legion. Funeral services were conducted at 2 P.M. time Monday, January 17 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home in Greensburg. Rev. Jimmy Knifley and Rev. Albert Geisler officiated. Burial was in the Greensburg Cemetery. Pallbearers were: Woodson Lewis, Gordon Moss, Ralph Berry, Brooks Edwards, Wilson Cook and Woodruff Calhoun. His mother is well known here in Campbellsville having worked for Lerman Brothers for a number of years. He is also a nephew of Mr and Mrs. George Monson of Campbellsville. Obituaries of Green Co.
