He was 86 years old. Mr. Milby made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Christian Assembly Church in Louisville. He was a former locksmith for the United States Government and served in the United States Army during WWII. He untied in marriage to Merthy Stinnett on July 31, 1948, who preceded him in death on January 25, 2008. Survivors include a daughter: Charlene Milby Doll-Curtsinger of Louisville. He is also survived by three sisters and two brothers: Ruby Pierce of Indiana, Ruth Jones of Arizona, Mary O'Neal of Louisville, Charles Edward Milby of Greensburg and H.C. Milby of Florida; along with a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral Services were held Saturday, April 12, 2008 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with Bro. Bill Wallender officiating. Burial was at H! odges Chapel Cemetery in Green County with full Military Rites. Pallbearers were Tom Rhodes, Paul Elswick, Jarvis James, Richard Siesert, Don Stevenson and J. D. Brown.
