She was a daughter of the late M. G. Foley and Mrs. Mattie Vaughn Foley, and was born in Green County May 9, 1901. She was a member of Aetna Grove Baptist Church. Besides her husband, George Dobson, she is survived by four children, Mrs. Kenneth Hall, Mrs. Carl Whitlow, Mrs. Ray Vance and Cosby Dobson, all of Green County; three sisters, one-half sister, two half-brothers, and six grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday at Aetna Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Noble Cottrell in charge, assisted by Rev. Eutra Hammett. Burial was in the church cemetery. Active pallbearers were Carlander Parker, Russell Parker, William Slayton, Finis Dobson, C. W. Dobson, and Effie Slayton. Honorary pallbearers were Leo Vance, William Jew ell, Newman Parker, Eli Dobson, Loy Slayton, Omer Caven, Clarence Gardner, Morris Pierce and Winfrey Berry. Obituaries of Green Co. Ky.
