Milby, son of Rube and Gee Milby, was born July 31 1892. He departed this life April 30, 1944, age 51 years, 8 months and 29 days. Mr. Milby was united in marriage to Mary Ellen Graham Sept. 15, 1913. To this union was born seven children, namely; Mrs. Othar Moran and Mrs. Cecil Simpson of Webbs, Rollin, Evelyn, Florence, Arnett, and William of Summersville. He professed faith in Christ and united with the Oak Forest Cumberland Presbyterian church in his 36th year. Even though his attendance with this body was hindered by ill health he remained a devout Christian and patiently awaited his summons of death. He leaves in grief, his wife, a mother, Mrs. Gee Milby, four brothers, Lee and Ezra of Hardin County, Richard of LaRue County, and Jim of Greensburg; three sisters, Lou Bennett, Campbellsville, Annie Hoover, Petersburg, Fla., and Emma Calhoun, Greensburg. He also leaves 5 grandchildren, Wayne, Blaine and Dennis Moran, Winifred Lee and Charles Densel Simpson. This! departure brings sadness to his home and the hearts of many friends but our God who doeth all things well, saw fit to call him home. We can not keep him with us any longer but we can meet him in Heaven. He is gone but will not be forgotten, and we know our loss is Heaven's gain. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. J. W. Furkin, assisted by Rev. B. H. Henderson at Oak Forrest Church. Obituaries of Green Co. Ky.
