She was a native of Green County, but spent most of her life in Cincinnati and Covington before moving to Florida. She is the mother of Stuart Pickett, Lake Worth , Florida, who is a former resident of Greensburg. Also surviving are her husband R. H. Florence; one sister Mrs. Marie Sandidge; and one granddaughter, Mrs. Ann Stuart McGill, Lake Worth, Florida. Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Wednesday. Jan. 7 at the Foster-Jones Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Whittier officiating. Burial was in the Greensburg Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers were Bill Taylor, Tommy Skaggs, David Mudd, Joe Rogers, Harold Anderson and Joe Foster. Obituaries of Green Co. Ky.
