He was born and reared near Gabe, and was married to Miss Lilly Marcum. He was a World War veteran and also a member of the American Legion where he will be missed by his comrades. He was a member of Oak Forest Church at Gabe. He leaves to mourn his passing a wife, one daughter, an aged father, two brothers and two sisters and a host of friends, as he numbered his friends by his acquaintances. Funeral services were held at Gabe Church Sunday, February 7th, the Rev. J. W. Furkin officiating, after which he was laid to rest in the family burying ground. Obituaries of Green Co. Ky.
