Henry A. Curry died Sunday, December 21 1:00 a. m. at his home in Pierce, following a stroke on Wednesday morning. He was 71 years old. The son of the late Alva Washington Curry and Mrs. Betty Sandidge Curry, he was born in Green County, January 10, 1881. He was a member of Trammells's Creek Baptist Church where he served as Deacon, Sunday School Superintendent and teacher for many years. He was united in marriage to Miss Netta L. Houk, September 11, 1904. To this union one daughter and four sons were born. Besides his wife he is survived by Mrs. Durwood Tucker, Greensburg; Earnest Curry, Louisville, Estil C. Curry, Pierce; Caswell D. Curry and Kendell B. Curry, Greensburg; four brothers, D. P. Curry, Rev. T. S. Curry, Campbellsville; L. C. Curry and B.L. Curry, Bowling Green; two sisters, Mrs. H. L. Sinclair, Bowling Green, and Mrs. C. E. Elzy, Glasgow; and 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Obituaries of Green Co. Ky.
