He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Trammell Creek Baptist Church at the time of his death. He united in marriage to Miss Florence Tucker, who preceded him in death February 2, 1927. To this union were born four sons and one daughter. Surviving are: Dr. Rual T. Perkins, Campbellsville; Carl Perkins and Geryl Perkins, both of Greensburg and Miss Audrey Perkins, Louisville. A son, Earl Perkins, preceded his father in death. He united in marriage to Mrs. Ermine Curry May, 1929 and she preceded him in death in July, 1950. To this union were born two children, who preceded him in death: Samuel Lee Perkins and Olga Mae Perkins. Mr. Perkins later united in marriage to Mrs. Troy Davis Judd, January 4, 1952, who survives. Mr. Perkins is also surv! ived by six1 stepdaughters: Mrs. Geneva Dean, Indianapolis; Mrs. Vester Ennis and Mrs. Paul Summitt, both of Louisville; Mrs. Ruel Judd, Mrs. C.L. Gentry and Mrs. Gearon Simpson, all of Greensburg; three stepsons: Herman Judd and A.D. Judd, both of Louisville and Raymond T. Judd, Greensburg; two sisters: Mrs. Thomas Pierce and Mrs. W.C. Warf, both of Greensburg; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 22 step grand-children and 14 step great grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, June 13, 1971 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial in the Ennis Cemetery with Masonic Rites. Revs. Carlis Compton and Morris Tucker officiated. Pallbearers were: Odell Perkins, A. D. Judd, Billy Keltner, Johnny Davis, Talmadge Tucker and Willie Frank Parsons. Obituaries of Green Co.
