She departed this life August 31, 1943, making her 36 years, 9 months and 28 days old. At the age of 21 she was married to Dan Hartfield. To this union was born one child who died in infancy. At an early age in life she was converted and united with the Bethlehem Baptist church and was a faithful Christian until death. She leaves four sisters, Mrs. Charlie Hopkins, Mrs. Ed Paxton and Mrs. Claud Bagby of Greensburg, and Mrs. Will Workman of Exie, and one brother, Mr. R. C. Bass of Greensburg; her husband, Mr. Dan Hartfield who is in the U. S. Army in California, and a host of friends to mourn her passing. Life, with all its trials is over for this loved one, but she is at rest where there will be no pains or heartaches. Obituaries of Green Co.
