At press time funeral arrangements had not been made. Funeral services were held at 2:00 p. m. Saturday at Mt. Lebanon Methodist Church for Zollie Ervin who died Thursday, June 18 at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Albert Judd, Greensburg, at the age of 70. Rev. Coy Jeffries was in charge of the services, assisted by Rev. Russell Taylor. Burial was in the Curry Cemetery. Mr. Ervin was a resident of the old Thurlow community where he was engaged in blacksmithing for a number of years. The son of the late John Ervin and Mrs. Martha Slinker Ervin, he was born in Green County, January 18, 1883. He was united in marriage to Miss Dellie Sublett in 1902. She preceded him in death 36 years ago. To this union one daughter, Mrs. Albert Judd, Greensburg, was born. He later was united in marriage to Miss Pearl Biggs. She preceded him in death. Later he was united in marriage to Miss Edna Young. To this union two daughters and two sons were born, Mrs. Juanita DeSpain and Mrs. Kenneth Simmons of Louisville; Charlie Ervin of California and Alo! nzie Ervin of Indianapolis, Ind. Later he was married to Mrs. Helen Kemp. He is also survived by one brother Ad Ervin of Louisville; 11 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
