Mr. Milby was born Sept. 5, 1868 and died Dec. 31, 1933, age 65 years, 3 months and 24 Days. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Sarah Close Milby, and 8 children, namely: Mrs. Jake Marr, Thurman, Clarence, Will, Homer, Johnnie, Howard and Lucian Milby. Two preceded him to the grave in infancy; 17 grand children, 1 sister Mrs. Richard Milby, and 3 brothers Mr. Antia Milby, Summersville, Mr. N. Milby of Gabe, and Mr. Jim Milby of Louisville, and a host of relatives and friends to mourn his passing. Mr. Milby professed faith in Christ early in life and united with Oak Forest Church about twenty-seven years ago. "Jeff", as he was familiarly known, will be greatly missed in his community as well as elsewhere, as he was an outstanding Christian. He was loved by ail who knew him . To know him was to love him. He was always the same e! very time you saw him. In his last hour, he knew all his children until the last, and ask for prayer with them one time more. He bore his sufferings with marvelous fortitude and never complained, only asking God to take him to rest. His many friends both here and elsewhere unite with the bereaved family in sorrow over the death of this devoted husband, father, loyal friend and noble man of God.
