Cabell who died Tuesday morning at the Baptist Hospital in Louisville, at the age of 84. Rev. J. T. Stewart was in charge of the services. Burial was in the Greensburg cemetery. The son of the late Frederick and Helen Lewis Cabell, he was born in Green County, and was well-known in this section. He lived on the Columbia road and was engaged in farming until seven years ago when he retired and moved to Lyndon, Ky., Jefferson County. He was a member of the Ebenezer Presbyterian Church. His wife, Lynn Dowdy Cabell, preceded him in death, November 2, 1952. He is survived by one son, Charles R. Cabell, Jr., St. Matthews; three grandchildren, Mrs. James A. Ford, Jr., Columbia Heights, Va.; Charles Robert Cabell, III, U. S. Navy, Bremerton. Wash., and Martha Mildred Cabell, St. Matthews. Pallbearers were Richard Shuffett, Hugh Squires, Leo Webb, Euell Dehoney, Boyce Hudson and Wi! llie Thomas. Honorary bearers were Clellon Moore, Joe Moore, Walter Russell, J. W. Moore, Alvin Webb, Henry Durham, Frank Miller and Pilson Smith. Obituaries of Green Co.
