Monday, on Highway 3IE at Buffalo, Ky. He was pronounced dead on arrival at St. Joseph Infirmary. Harold R. Nunn, 24, who was riding on the motorcycle with Hodges, was rendered unconscious, and was also taken to St. Joseph Infirmary The extent of his injuries have not been learned, but he is expected to recover. Hodges, who attended Greensburg High School, served in the Armed Forces for eight years with four years overseas duty. He professed faith in Christ at the age of 13 and united with the Cumberland Presbyterian Church. In 1942 he was united in marriage to Miss Dorothy Johnson of San Fernando, California. Besides his wife and parents, he is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Brodus Akin and Mrs. James Christie; and one brother, Jo Tommy Hodges. Also surviving are his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. S. A. Hodges, one niece, ! two nephews, six aunts, and three uncles. Military services were held at 3:30 p. m. Wednesday at the Greensburg Methodist Church with burial in the Greensburg cemetery. Reverend V. A. Jones, Reverend J. W. Rayburn, and Reverend C. D. Owen assisted in the services. Obituaries of Green Co. Ky.
