Clark, 64, former resident of Green County, died Tuesday, August 17 in St. Joseph's Hospital, Louisville. He had been in declining health for the past several months and underwent an operation two weeks ago. He was a brother of Mrs. Frank Pierce of Pierce. Mr. Clark was born and reared in the Pierce section of Green County, and went to Louisville around twenty-five years ago. He had been engaged in the printing business there for several years where he operated the Clark Printing Company. His two sons and daughter, Mrs. Clyde Marcum were associated with him in the business. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Cora E. Pierce Clark: two daughters, Mrs. Clyde Marcum and Mrs. Ray Jensen; two sons. Uhlan C. and Norman L. Clark, of Louisville: a sister, Mrs. Frank Pierce of Green County; and four grandchildren, Funeral services were conducted Thursday at Arch L. Heady Southern Funeral Home by Rev. Herman Rowlett.
