She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Allendale Baptist Church at the time of her death. She united in marriage to Mr. George Harrison Jones in July, 1919 and he preceded her in death July 11, 1970. To this union was born one daughter: Mrs. Christine Paxton, Greensburg. Mrs. Jones is also survived by three sisters: Mrs. Roxie Marcum and Mrs. Mae Graham, both; of Louisville and Mrs. Mary Elmore, Greensburg; one brother: Samuel Warren, Mt. Sherman and host of other relatives and friends. The remains were at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home where funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 10, 1980 with burial in the Perkins Cem! etery. Rev. Bobby Shelton officiated. Pallbearers were: James Jones, James Herbert Elmore, William R. Haselwood, Samuel Warren, Jr., Eugene Beauchamp, and Billy Jones. Obituaries of Green Co.
