He was born and reared at Exie and joined the U. S. Army at the age of 21. He remained in the army until he was retired about 12 years ago. Cause of death was not learned. Mr. Martin visited in Green County several weeks early this year and will be remembered by many. Surviving: are his wife and two daughters of Minneapolis; three sisters, Mrs. J.L.
