She was 84 years of age, and was a native of Metcalfe County. She was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church. Surviving are her husband. Creed Holley; a daughter. Mrs. Velma Asbury, Horse Cave; three sons, Frank Holley and Earl Holley, Greensburg, Verlon Holley, Crail Hope; one brother, Arthur Trowbridge, Bowling Green; and a sister, Mrs. Amy Davis, Greensburg, and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 1 pm Sunday at the Foster-Jones Funeral Home with Rev. Edward Taylor officiating. Burial was in Kidd Cemetery. Obituaries of Green Co.
