He was born December 30, 1899, in Green County, a son of the late Charlie Lile and Mrs. Maggie Ennis Lile. He was married to Miss Ida Oakes on December 22, 1921. He was a member of Greasy Creek Baptist Church. Besides his wife, he is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Marguerite Kessler, Mrs. Clydene Bagby, and Miss Ann Lile, all of Greensburg and Mrs. Edith Squires, Chicago; two sons, Floyd and Bill Lile, both of Greensburg; four sisters, Mrs. Pearl Whitlock, Mrs. Ruth Nunn and Mrs. Irene Kelly, all of Greensburg, and Mrs. Ruby Beebart, Mason City, IL; two brothers, Clifton Lile, Greensburg, and Clifford Lile, Indianapolis, and nine grandchildren. The remains were at Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home until time for the funeral which was held Thursday, April 18, at Greasy Creek Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. The Rev. Elvis Marcum and, Rev. Eutre Hammett officiated. Pallbearers ! were Loyd Nunn, Lindsey Nunn, Loren Nunn, Elwood Nunn, Rex Kelly and Danny Wilcoxson. Obituaries of Green Co. Ky.
