The daughter of the late Mr. Scott, Ervin and Mrs. Matilda Meadows Ervin, she was born in Green County, September 28, 1907. She professed faith in Christ at an early age. She was united in marriage to Eunice Gowen, August 10, 1924. To this union four daughters and one son were born. Surviving besides husband, are Finis Gowen, Mrs. Doris Price, Miss Carolyn Gowen, Miss Charlotte Gowen; one brother, W. C. Ervin, Towanda, Ill.; one half-brother, John Ervin, Indianapolis, Ind.; four half-sisters, Mrs. Rachel Hook, Columbia, Ind., Miss Ray Jean Ervin, Columbia, Ind., Miss Elizabeth Ervin and Miss Thelma Ervin, and three grandchildren. Funeral service were held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 24 at Full Gospel Tabernacle, CampbellsVille. Rev. Martin was in charge. Burial was in the church cemetery. Pallbearers were Vester Ennis, Cecil Simpson, Curtis Price, C. G, ! Simpson, Boyce Davis and Hervy Arnett. Obituaries of Green Co.
