She was 62 years, four months and three days of age. She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Aetna Grove Baptist Church at the time of her death. She united in marriage to Mr. Kenneth Murphy April 17, 1938, who survives. To this union were born two sons and two daughters: Ray Murphy, Buffalo; Mrs. Juanita Wright, Summersville, Mrs. Janice Smith, New Albany, Indiana; and Nelson Murphy, Magnolia. Mrs. Murphy is also survived by one brother: Curt Dobson, Summersville; and four sisters: Mrs. Ruby Warren, Knifley; Mrs. Margaret Hudgins and Mrs. Jean Roberts, both of Louisville and Mrs. Annie Warren, Illinois; and eight grandchildren and host of other relatives and friends. The remains were at the Cowherd and P! arrott Funeral Home until time of funeral services at 2 p.m. Tuesday, August 21, 1979 at the Aetna Grove Baptist Church with burial in the Aetna Grove Cemetery. Rev. Ronnie Click officiated. Pallbearers were: Michael Greer, Michael Roberts, Vernon Burton, Auston Caldwell, Dowen Quisenberry, and Allen Beavers. Obituaries of Green Co. Ky.
