He was 74 years of age. He had made a profession of faith in Christ early in life. He united in marriage to Miss Cora Lee Montgomery and she preceded him in death in 1919. To this union were born one son and one daughter. Surviving are: Thomas Creed King, Valley Station. Mr. King later united in marriage on December 18, 1920, to Miss Alice Altman, who survives. To this union were born one son and three daughters. Surviving are: Mrs. Hamilton Milby Gabe and Mrs. Flora Caven, Greensburg. Agnes, Charles and Inez King preceded their father in death. Mr. King is also survived by one brother: John King, Greensburg and one sister: Mrs. Nancy Curlee, Alabama 6 grandchildren, one step-grandchild and 1 step great-grandchild. Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 10 with burial in the Wil! son Cemetery. Rev. Marvin Appleby officiated, Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home were in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers were: Raymond Berry, Eddie Bloyd, Robert Vaughn, Chester Hudgins, Arlene Estes and Howard Curry. Obituaries of Green Co. Ky.
