Wednesday, February 10th at the Ebenezer Presbyterian Church for Mrs. Mary E. Clark who died at the home of her son, Leon Clark at 3:15 a. m. Tuesday, February 9th [1954] in the Ebenezer community, at the age of 77 years. Rev. V.A. Jones was in charge of the services. Burial was in the church cemetery. The daughter of the late Richard Darnell and Mrs. Judie Cox Darnell she was born in Green County, January 25, 1877. She professed faith in Christ early in life and united with the Fry Baptist Church. She was united in marriage to J. H. Clark, August 22, 1894. He preceded her in death September 1947. To this union one daughter and four sons were born. Surviving are: Mrs. P. H. Acree, Fry; Leon and Lionel Clark of Green County; Hugh Clark of Louisville, and Charlie Clark of Elizabethtown; also one sister, Mrs. Bettie Cox of..... Obituaries of Green Co.
