He was a resident of Columbus, Indiana. He united in marriage to Miss Marie Young, May 30, 1958, who survives. Mr. Mefford is also suvived by one daughter, Mrs. Martha Goins, Beach Grove, Ind.; and one son, John Mefford, Hazel Green Alabama; six grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 25, 1969 with burial in the Little Barren Cemetery. Wallace Thompson and Glenn Slinker officiated. Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home was in charge of funeral arrangements. Pallbearers were: Wendell Young, Edward, Roy, and Donny Curry, Marvin March and Melvin March. Obituaries of Green Co. Ky.
