He was 55 years of age. He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Liberty Baptist Church at the time of his death. He united in marriage to Miss Stella McCubbin December 24, 1946. To this union were born one daughter and one son: Mrs. Louise Price, Summersville, and Jimmy Lewis, Buffalo, Route 1. Mr. Lewis is also survived by two brothers: Hulet Lewis and Clyde Junior Lewis, both of Louisville; and one sister: Mrs. Walter Popham, Louisville. Funeral services were conducted at the Liberty Baptist Church Sunday, September 7, at 3 p.m. by Revs. Milton Judd. Cosby Dobson and Jimmy Horn. Burial was in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers: Otis Lewis, Rollin Lewis, Garry Judd, Jerry Judd, J. W. DeSpain, ! and Lewis Dobson. Obituaries of Green Co. Ky.
