Mr. Goff was a son of the late Jessie M. and Martha Montgomery Goff, and was born in Green County March 21, 1889. He was a member of the Macedonia Baptist Church, and had served as trustee and song leader of the church. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Una Jeffries Goff: three sons, Fred Goff, Louisville; Thomas Goff, Elizabethtown, and Ray Goff, Greensburg; a daughter, Mrs. J. C. Mays, Louisville; one sister, Mrs. L. V. Graham, Greensburg, and six grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted Wednesday at Macedonia Baptist Church with Rev. Noble Cottrell and Rev. Manley Towles officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery. Pallbearers were Ralph Jeffries, Curtis Jeffries, Wayne Jeffries, Doyle Graham, Elliott Graham, and Ivy Compton. Honorary pallbearers were U, B. Slinker, Lonnie Chaudoin, E. W. Davis, Albert Chaudoin, George Winn, Walton Burress, John A. Beams, Richard Shuffett, Be! ckham Goff, Terry Goff, Holman Goff, and Hayden Perry.
