She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Macedonia Baptist Church. She united in marriage to Mr. C. A. "Ned" Higgason, January 27, and he preceded her in death, July 11, 1962. To this union were born four sons and four daughters. Surviving are David, Wayne, Alice, and Van Higgason, all of Greensburg, Mrs. Lovie Altman, Campbellsville, Mrs. Nellie Sandidge, Hodgenville, and Mrs. Mae Noble, Elizabethtown. Henry Thomas Higgason preceded his mother in death June 23, 1928. Mrs. Higgason is also survived by ten grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted at Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home at 1 p.m., Saturday, February 4, by Rev. Carlis Compton and Rev. Eddie Hubbard. Burial was In the Thomp! son Cemetery. Pallbearers were Handy Higgason, Darrell Higgason, Claude Noble, Jr., Larry Hartman, Eddie Gorin, Dwight Adcock, and Al Mitchell. Obituaries of Green Co.
