Curry, 52, who died Monday, November 15 at 7:30 p.m. at his home in the Newt section. Rev. Coy Jeffries was in charge of the services, assisted by Rev, Manley Towles and Rev. Mitchell Capps. Burial was in the church cemetery. The son of Marshall Curry and Mrs. Lula Jeffries Curry, he was born in Green Co., 2 Jan 1902. He was a member of the Greasy Creek Baptist Church. He was united in marriage to Miss Lola B. Pierce in 1925. To this union three sons and one daughter were born. Besides his wife, he is survived by Evan and Benny Curry, his mother, Mrs. Lula Curry; three brothers, Lyman Curry of Campbellsville, Cosby Curry of Greensburg, Chester Curry of Columbia; one sister, Mrs. Cecil Curry of Greensburg; a grandchild, Mary Margaret Curry. Active pallbearers were Lemon Jeffries, Roy Curry, Willie Curry, Loren Patterson, Boyce Curry and Leon McKinney.
