McGinnis, Sr., son of the late Mr. Larkin Euphrates McGinnis and Mrs. Effie Coffey McGinnis, was born December 19, 1895 in Green County and departed this life at 12:15 p.m. Thursday, September 13, 1973 at the Jane Todd Crawford Memorial Hospital in Greensburg. He was 77 years, eight months and 14 days of age. He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Ebenezer Presbyterian Church at the time of his death. He united in marriage to Miss Leland Frances Blevins June 14, 1920, who survives. To this union were born four daughters and one son: Mrs. Virginia Vickers, Louisville; Mrs. Jacqueline Hudson and Mrs. Larkie Hudgins, all of Greensburg; Aubrey E. McGinnis, Jr., Bardstown. Mr. McGinnis is also survived by one brother: K.K. McGinnis, Greensburg two sisters: Mrs. Pauline Mitchell and Mrs. Vera Sharpe, both of Greensburg; 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild an host of other relatives an friends. The remains were at th Cowherd and Parr! ott Funeral Home where funeral services were conducted at 10 a.m. CDT Saturday September 15, 1973 with burial in the Bethlehem Cemetery. Revs. Calvin Mouser and Cecil Irwin, Sr. officiated. Pallbearers were: Cas Curry, Harold Hudgins, Carl Vickers, Ronnie Moran, Mark Mitchell, and Wayne Edwards. Obituaries of Green Co. Ky.
