G. Hollins and Mrs. Nancy K. Trowbridge Hollins, was born January 5, 1901, in Green County and departed this life at 3:50 p.m., Sunday, May 15, at McDowell Wing. He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Trammell Creek Baptist Church. He united in marriage to Miss Nellie Dial, November 5, 1922, and she preceded him in death November 10, 1976. To this union were born three sons and one daughter: Mrs. Garland (Louvena) Judd and Ramon Hollins, both of Greensburg. Garland and Gilbert Hollins preceded their father in death. Mr. Hollins is also survived by one sister: Mrs. Velma Asbury, Hardyville; 14 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted at Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home at 1 p.m., Tuesday, May 17, by Rev. Terry Bishop and Rev. Gilbert Larimore. Burial was in Bethel Cemetery. Pallbearers were Morris Judd, Tommy Judd, Ray Judd, Robert Judd, Albert Ray, Jr., Ricky Underw! ood, Arnie Judd, and Ramon Hollins, Jr. Obituaries of Green Co.
