Rev. F. T. Pepper conducted the services. The son of Francis Jeffries and Mattie Thompson Jeffries, he was born Jan. 11, 1888. He was united in marriage to Turia Catherine Davis. To this union nine children were born. One son, Kenneth died in the service of his country in World War II. He professed faith in Christ and joined the Oak Grove church 22 years ago where he remained a faithful member until death. He leaves to mourn his passing his wife, his mother, Mrs. Mattie Jeffries, three daughters. Mrs. Otha Moran, Mrs. Sybil Pepper, and Marcella Jeffries; five sons, Leonard. Ralph, Curtis, Elmore, and Wayne Jeffries; three brothers, DeWitt, Luke and Tubble Jeffries; one sister, Mrs. Owen Goff. Pallbearers were Boyce Davis, R. E.
